2025 Culinary Collective: A Special Jacques Pépin Foundation Dinner
Join us for the 2025 edition of The Culinary Collective—a unique dining series hosted by Oak & Reel that celebrates collaboration and craft by bringing acclaimed chefs from across the country into our kitchen for unforgettable one-night-only events.
This year, we’re honored to partner with the Jacques Pépin Foundation for a special dinner as part of its “90 Chefs for 90 Years” series, recognizing Chef Pépin’s 90th birthday and his enduring commitment to culinary education.
Our guest chef for the evening is Danny Combs, a seasoned culinary professional whose experience spans from leading some of Cincinnati’s top restaurants—including the celebrated Sotto and Boca—to opening his own critically acclaimed French restaurant, Colette, in the heart of the city’s Over-the-Rhine district. Chef Combs is known for his deeply rooted respect for classical technique, his globally inspired palate, and his ability to craft refined dishes grounded in tradition yet full of imagination.
This collaborative dinner will be an evening of exceptional food, shared stories, and the spirit of mentorship that Chef Pépin continues to inspire.
